Your privacy, and especially the privacy of children, is our top priority. This policy outlines how Garage.ist ("we," "our," or "us") manages information in the Sortify game, designed in compliance with GDPR-K, COPPA, and KVKK standards.
Sortify follows the principle of data minimization. We do not collect background technical data automatically, and we explicitly state that:
Parent/Educator Data: When creating a mandatory supervisor account via Google or Apple Login, we collect your Name, Surname, and Email address.
Child Data: We only collect a child's Date of Birth to ensure age-appropriate content. Parents may optionally provide a child's Name/Surname, but this is not required. All child profiles are identified by an anonymous UID linked to the parent account.
In-Game Data: We record "correct answers and progress" solely to generate leaderboards and track educational success. This data is never used for AI training.
Children cannot sign up for Sortify independently. All usage is strictly under the control of a parent or educator. We do not allow child-to-child communication or photo uploads, ensuring a safe, walled-garden environment.

Data security is maintained through Firebase Security Rules and Google's high-level encryption standards.
We retain data to maintain educational progress even during periods of inactivity. Users have the right to request full data deletion at any time by contacting us at support@garage.ist.
We notify parents of any policy changes via a mandatory pop-up notification. Explicit consent is required to continue using the service after an update.
